The soap making day courses in France enable you to experiment with both cold process bar soapmaking, liquid soapmaking and creams a lotions. There is also a half day course for business studies where we can discuss your individual situation and there is plenty of time for you to relax. The course is in English but we have had many french participants and we seem to manage with the language.
On the cold process day we will be making three batches of bar soap from scratch using a wonderful selection of natural oils.herbs and colourants. This process enables you to make mild, glycerine rich soaps with entirely natural ingredients.
On the creams and lotions day you will learn how to make aqueous and non aqueous creams, lotions and balms and you will also learn how to formulate recipes to suit your skin type.
On the liquid soap day we work using the paste method which produces a natural gel that you can dilute as and when you need it. This is a hot process.
On the business course you will learn about. european cosmetic legislation, marketing, packaging and there is plenty of time for questions and answers, The business day ends at 2.30pm. You also get course papers including supplier contact details and software where appropriate.
The course prices can be found on the booking form.:We are not including accommodation for the foreseeable future but there are plenty of b&bs around and some good value hotels in the Bergerac area
The course includes a light lunch either at the venue or at a local restaurant..

Dear Melinda
I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed my 'liquid' day with you, it was great
fun and also very useful for working out where liquid soaps can come into
a product range. Thanks also for the delicious lunch!
